Miu Miu You, 2017

Made in October 2017 to be sold at Amaicon. This is part of a set of 9 illustrations inspired by Love Live! Sunshine!! and fashion advertisements in Harper's Bazaar.

Magazine cutouts were glued to cardstock to create the background. A marker and ink illustration on cardstock was composited onto the background in Photoshop. Her face makes me want to cry.

The blue outfit You is wearing really stands out from the rest of the outfits in the ads -- it's very lively yet still has handsome restraint. You is one of those energetic, dependable girls who look great in a pop of color. The shoes were made up due to them not being shown in the ad. Some of the ad was used in the background, but I pulled from similar colors and appropriate settings for You for the major part of it.
