Alice + Olivia Chika, 2017

Made in October 2017 to be sold at Amaicon. This is part of a set of 9 illustrations inspired by Love Live! Sunshine!! and fashion advertisements in Harper's Bazaar.

Magazine cutouts were glued to cardstock to create the background. A marker and ink illustration on cardstock was composited onto the background in Photoshop.

Chika loves to stand out, so the dominant orange and yellow in this outfit really make her shine. The model in the actual ad was wearing a hat, but the show model linked isn't. Some pieces of the ad were used, but others are object photos from articles.
