Northwest IdolFest Chibi Badge Art, 2024

I joined the staff of Northwest IdolFest this year as part of their design team. This art was requested for use on the Chibi weekend badges, issued to attendees under 12. The convention mascot Ichigo is depicted with her "chibi" self holding an official IdolFest penlight.

I used alcohol markers, Sakura Gelly Roll pen, comic white ink, and Pigma micron liners. I cleaned up the scan in Clip Studio Paint, at which point the transparent version was ready to go on the badges. To complete the illustration for possible sale as prints, I added a background in Adobe Illustrator.
